One journey, shared from the first evening to the last, and planned so that every member of the group feels it was made for them.
A reunion of old friends, a circle of families traveling as one, a club or a private society with a shared passion. Groups ask for a particular kind of care: days that move smoothly for everyone, tables large enough to gather around, and room for each traveler to wander on their own.
Every group journey is planned from the beginning around who is coming. Rooms are arranged together, private transport waits at every stage, and private dining rooms are reserved for the evenings that bring everyone back to the same table.
One point of contact looks after the whole group before and during the journey, so no one has to be the organizer while you travel.
Most group journeys spend two or three weeks in the country, which leaves time for a capital, a second city and a slower stretch by the sea. A few of the routes our groups love:
The best group journeys have a thread that runs through them. We shape each one around a season or a shared interest, so the days hold together as a story.
Korea and Japan sit a short flight apart, and many groups choose to end their journey with a week across the sea. Korea remains the heart of the journey, and we can arrange a Japan extension to follow it, with the same care over transfers, stays and tables.
Popular pairings include Tokyo and Kyoto, for temples, gardens and the old wooden streets of the former capital, or Tokyo and Osaka, for a livelier week built around food and the city at night.
